How does NARA process an order?

Processing of orders includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: searching for the records, photocopying or duplicating the records, packaging and shipping the records, and processing (charging) your credit card. The National Archives requires time to process your order. Your credit card will not be charged if we are not successful in locating the records you have requested.
